Classes & Programs

Karate class meets every Tuesday night in the Gym at H.J. MacDonald Middle School. Ages 3-7 meet at 7:00pm - 7:30pm and ages 8-adult meet from 7:30pm - 9:00pm. Fees for the class are $25/month for ages 3-7 and $35/month for ages 8-adult. For more information, call Billy Wilkes at (252) 636-6606. Activity Registration Form CLASS WILL NOT MEET IN JULY

Special Olympics Craven County will have its kick-off meeting Tuesday, August 10th at West New Bern Rec. Center. If you would like to volunteer for any events for Special Olympics, please contact Mark Seymour at (252) 636-6606.

A Dog Obedience class is scheduled for Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Creekside Park from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. Fee for the class is $70. This class runs every Wednesday for six weeks. Your dog must be at least five weeks old prior to the class starting. Pre-registration is required. Click on the Forms page to access the Activity Registration Form. Special Olympics Craven County will have its annual fundraiser, Craven's Got Talent on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Grover C. Fields Middle School. More details will follow. Please contact Mark Seymour at (252) 636-6606 if you have any questions.

Sports/Leagues

Craven County Co-ed Softball League will start Monday, August 19, 2010. All teams must pay the $100 deposit, which is due by Friday, July 31, 2010. The remainder fee will be posted once we have an account of all the teams participating. League play will be on Monday and Thursday nights with make-ups on Tuesdays.
