Youth Volleyball Camp

Craven County Recreation and Parks Department is sponsoring a youth girls volleyball camp. Ages 8-11 will participate from 9:00am - 12:00pm and ages 12 and up will go from 1:00pm - 4:00pm. Camp hours are 9:00am - 4:00pm. Cost for participant is $60 per person. Camp will be held at H.J. MacDonald Middle School. Pre-registration is required. Family Paddle

The Twin Rivers Paddle Club will be offering a Family Paddle periodically throughout the year. No charge! Please call the Recreation office at (252) 636-6606 if you are interested in attending.

Youth Karate Classes

Karate classes are available for ages 3-adult. The classes are being held on Tuesdays at H.J. MacDonald Middle School. They are 7:00pm - 7:30pm for ages 3-7 and 7:30pm - 9:00pm for ages 8-17. The fee for Karate Classes is $25 per month for ages 3-7, and $35 per month for ages 8-adult. If interested, please return payment and activity registration form to the Craven County Recreation and Parks Department.

Note: Classes are on-going. **Note: class will be canceled on Tuesday, June 8th; classes will be cancelled for the month of July and will resume August 3rd.

Ben D. Quinn Summer Day Camp 2010

Children ages 6-11 can enjoy summer days filled with arts and crafts, games, sports, music, and field trips. The location will be Ben D. Quinn Elementary School. The cost is $95 per child per two-week session. The hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. The program lasts for six weeks. Pre-registration is mandatory to the first 40 campers. To register, send the youth camp registration form and fee to the Craven County Recreation and Parks Department.
