Twin Rivers Paddle Club

 COME JOIN THE FUN! Craven County Recreation and Parks Department has sponsored a canoe and kayak paddle club for beginners who want to learn to paddle and the experienced paddlers wanting someone to paddle with as well. The club meets the second Tuesday of every month. The meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Room in the Craven County Administrative Building at 406 Craven Street in New Bern. Senior Paddle
The Twin Rivers Paddle Club will be offering a Senior Paddle periodically throughout the year. Please contact the Craven County Recreation and Parks office if you are interested in attending, (252) 636-6606.

Golf
Come learn the game of golf at Carolina Pines Golf Club. Times are from 5:30 pm-7:00 pm. The class is every Tuesday for six weeks. Cost for the class is $80 per enrollment. Class size is limited to the first fifteen who register. Activity Registration Form

Dog Obedience
Dog Obedience is for individuals needing assistance in training their cuddly companion. Classes are held at Creekside Park. All dogs must be at least 5 months old at the start of the class. Classes are six weeks at $70 per class, per dog. To register, send activity registration form and fee to Craven County Recreation and Parks Department. Meet You At The Park (Tennis)
Craven County Tennis Association is sponsoring "Meet me at the Park" tennis on the second and fourth Mondays at 6:30 pm at the West New Bern Recreation Center. The program is a semi-organized match play for all ages and a great way to find new tennis challenges. There is no fee to participate. For more information, call Billy Wilkes at (252) 636-6606.
Adult Beginner/Intermediate Tennis Lessons
Craven County and City of New Bern Recreation and Parks Departments is sponsoring adult beginner/intermediate tennis lessons. Classes will be held at West New Bern Recreation Center's tennis courts. Classes will be from 5:30-7:00 pm. Cost per session will be $45.00 for four classes. To register, send activity registration form and fee to Craven County Recreation and Parks Department.

Kayaking Class
Classes are held on Thursdays for four weeks at Neuse River Foundation from 5:30 pm 7:00 pm. Cost for the class is $50 per person. Space is limited to the first 12 people to register.
